Hi nguyentrachuy:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

May we know your name and where you are?

Am I to understand that you've only had the tortoise for about a month? If that's the case, can you contact the previous owner and ask what they were feeding the tortoise?

Have you tried offering the tortoise grass? They also eat succulent plants (a type cactus without the spines).

I don' think this person is from the US so food sources will be limited compared to the US. You should try feeding mulberry leaves, hibiscus leaves/flowers, cactus (may not be available there), mushrooms, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, and other dark leafy greens even weeds will do.

Nice animal to by the way!

Some other foods i also offer to him is papaya, sweet potato leaf, strawberry, apple, cactus.

In 5 year ago. I alway do like:

In daytime, i let she go around my backyard.
In nighttime, i bring she in. Then i use 1 UVB 10.0 and UVA 100w for she from 19pm to 22pm.
and i also feed she from 19pm to 22pm.

What temperature do you keep her in? Has she lost weight? Her eyes look clear and no runny nose?
What about poo? Is it loose, smelly?

How long have you been keeping her?

Try to give her a bath at least once a day, and put a few drops of electrolytes and calcium in the water, increase temperature to 30 degrees celsius.

If her condition doesn't improve in a week or two, see a vet.

Agree, if it stopped eating its normal diet check for signs for health issues as mentioned above.

It's not normal for them not to eat, something is not right.
Does she poop when you give her a bath? Is she lethargic?
Try prickley pears or fruits with bright colors.
Maybe she decided to go on a diet, hehe, sorry, couldn't help it.

Is she eating? Try hibiscus flowers, they love hibiscus and that could kick start her appetite.

I think nguyentrachuy has had the tortoise for five years. And he hasn't re-visited the forum since November 14th.
