I had to tube feed mine for close to 6 months, he was getting the greens he would normally be eating mix with enough water to blend and critical care, which you should be able to get from your vet. He did very well on it until he decided it was time to start eating no his own again. He's a total pig now.
Hope this helps, I know how stressful it is to have to force feed them.
