I just recently acquired a Russian Tortoise from Petsmart. When I bought the tortoise about a month ago, she would poop in her warm soak bath. This occurred twice. Since then, she has not pooped at all, nor do I notice any urates. She continues to eat very well and is active, but I have not seen any poop for 3 weeks even after multiple warm soaks. Could this be an issue? If she were impacted wouldnt she stop eating after 3 weeks of not pooping? Is it possible that she is pooping but is eating it while I am at work? I sprinled some olive oil on her greens hoping that would get things moving but no luck.

Russian tortoises usually have some pretty ugly, stinky poops. I'm sure, if there were any in there, you would see them. Maybe you're right and the tortoise is eating it. But, you're also right in assuming that if the tortoise were becoming impacted he would slow down in the appetite department.
