My 1,5 year old Russian was on antibiotic for two weeks because of her runny nose. The medication worked: she started to be more active, ate more and her runny nose was gone. During those two weeks I had a 60W CHE running at night.
The past few days my 1,5 year old Russian stays buried the whole day. In the morning she is sleeping under her CHE, and goes for a walk after the lights gets on. I put her in bath for 20-30 min and after her soak she has her lunch. She only eats a little bit and goes to sleep/buries again in the same spot the whole day right after.
Her temps hasn’t changed much. The temps are still the same: basking 105F, warm 80-90F, cool 70F and night just below 70F (with CHE +80F). Her enclosure did get warmer because I got a bigger dome for my MVB. Also, I started to give her some pieces of banana as a treat during her time on antibiotics.
Ps.: when I took my tort to the vet a month ago, the vet said she looked fine. Mouth is nice pink and clean, and she feels heavy.
