I have noticed recently the Rio Grande cooters in the indoor 180 gallon aquarium like to spend some time brushing the tops of their shells on things. It reminds me of that post the other day where a turtle scrubbed their butt on a suction cup brush in their aquarium. It turns out cholla cactus wood works too!
And just for good measure. Everyone else came out to say hi when I started holding my phone near the glass.

The fourth turtle is way in the back being sneaky. The convict cichlids and the turtles have thus far just left each other alone. They are FAST, but maybe someday the turtles catch one.
