I have friends in Tlaquepaque whom I visit every few years. Next time I have the time to go I'd love to hear about where to see torts and turtles! Not happening this year unfortunately.

They have so many kinds of turtles and tortoises in the Guadalajara zoo , and there are some places called "umas" all over Mexico where they have all kinds of turtles you can talk to the owners and they can give you a tour of the place , in those places they breed turtles that they later on sell to people and they give you all the documents and stuff to prove they were obtain legally
