Since it is getting colder and Whetstone my little Indian Star will be spending more time inside I gave him some new plants, I didn't move anything else just put new plants in. He wanders a lot and seems happy with the new obstacles to maneuver around.

You're lucky he leaves his "furniture" alone. I usually start the baby box turtles habitats out nicely planted...looking so pretty. But I have to dig them up every day to make sure they're all eating and hydrated and it only takes a day or two for it to look pretty barren.

Is he the only star you have?

Do you know any of the common or species names for the cacti and succulents you've added to your enclosure? Everything looks great!

I am terrible with plant names, but some of these I do know, the cactus is humifusa, which will grow just about anywhere in the USA,the sedums are a type of stonecrop which there are several types that are sold as ground covers. I grow these outside and bring some in when needed and with the proper lighting will last several months before looking straggly if not eaten before.

Thank you so much. I have plants that I like to use, but I know there are other options out there. Obviously variety is key, so I'm trying to be a sponge with this stuff. Thanks!
