So my dad and I threw this together today. I'll be adding plants tomorrow. Hope this helps contain humidity! Not bad for only using wood scraps found around the house, building it without a specific plan in mind, and only having to buy the plexiglass. Tell me what you think!

Thank you. My dad is a retired carpenter so I went over with a 2' x 4' box made and said, I want to put a lid on this. I think he was having a lot of fun because he kept adding embellishments, like handles, on a whim. He asked how long she would be in this one, and I said about 2 years depending on growth, then she'll need an outdoor pen with heated sheds and such, and I swear his eyes lit up as he exclaimed, "I'll start on some plans!" Maybe he wasn't so ready to retire... Or maybe he liked that I bought KFC for dinner. :D
Loods Great. Awsome Job. YOu want to come over an make Bowser one? LOL

You actually aren't too far from us! Bring a truck and come on down!

Nice job! Did you put anything on the wood to prevent rot/mold from high humidity?

I would line the inside with a piece of plastic under the substrate. Clear shower curtain will work well.
Do you think the wood around the top would be okay left alone, or should I treat that with something?
