My 7 year old male redfoot loves to swim in his pool every day. Sometimes for over an hour till he gets tired and retreats to his bush.

Mine will eat in the water too when I add floating food to the "mix".
They enjoy koi pellets and turtle sticks.

I think my male just wants the dog food cause I feed the dogs on the Other side of his inclosure. Must smell good to him.

This is embarrassing...but I was at the grocery story tonight & I purposely parked by this island that had big rocks so I can start gathering rocks for my enclosure so I can try this out with my red foots & I didnt realize there was an older guy starring at me as I was taking some rocks! And...I was talking to myself..."oh yeah this is good," "too small," "This one sucks" and whatever else I said! Yeah I got the weirdest look every when I drove off . Oh well...

It's for my babies:D
Hilarious!

I seem.to recall they have been observed doing said activity in the wild. Though not for fun as I recall but for new food sources.

I'm on the road for a few days, but I'll have to try this with Darwin when I get home....
