Anyone have insight to raising a Leopard(paradilis paradilis) in the northeast US. i currently have three russians indoors in the winter and outdoors in the spring fall summer. i have an opportunity to get one or two leopards??????
Raising them there is no different than anywhere else really, but you'll have to deal with colder weather more than others. Young ones can stay in the house, but as they get older you will have to figure out how to keep the in a decent sized enclosure during cold temps.
I'm in Chicago Illinois. My leopard is spending his first winter outside in his 8x12 foot heated shed. He is 2 1/2. It's really all in what you can afford to do. Whether it's a large enclosure in the basement of a heated shed.
