It's everywhere here. I've looked on the lists (that I've found) covering edible and stay away from plants. I've not found ragweed on them. Any of you long time tort keepers have any info on this? I believe it's in the sunflower family. Thanks all

Well, now I'm a bit confused. This is what I thought ragweed was. It doesn't look like the photos on TTT

It's low on the edible scale, however isn't rated as toxic. "An erect summer annual with some useful medicinal qualities and minor edible and other uses."

The alpha numeric file name made me wonder if you did or was it a stock photo from somewhere. When I looked I saw this https://nature.mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/field-guide/giant-ragweed which has a latin name. Ambrosia trifida which lead to finding these results on google https://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=ambrosia+trifida+edible&hl=en&as_sdt=0&as_vis=1&oi=scholart
Thanx for the info. That is definitely the plant. "Growing by the thousands" is an understatement. LOL Too bad it can't be more of a staple food source.
