Hello again I have a 80w mvb for basking and uv etc I have it at 9-10 inches to get 102ish basking temp is this too low and if not what is the lowest without causing problems? Thanks kane

I would keep the light 12 inches above your tortoises shell.

Distance of light is relevant to desired basking temp. If your tortoise is a hatchling lower to the ground then measure around there. If it's taller/older than take that into consideration also as to not burn the carapace.
