quick plant question

I have a quick plant question. I am familiar with the edible plants list on the russiantortoise.org site.
I am wondering about two plants I don't see on there, but that I've seen people mention feeding their torts:
-tulip
-magnolia flowers

Tulip is supposedly toxic, not fatally so.
