I recently got this tortoise from a pond. I have no idea what it is.? He/she -.- I somehow find it male though coz of its tail protruding outside .
What do I feed it?
Its pooping liquid and like 4 5 times a day.
I fed it wheat flour balls.
Plz help asap.
It's probably Lissemys punctata, or Indian softshell turtle. It looks like a very young turtle. Are there laws in India against taking turtles from nature?
Here's a link to a care sheet (stop feeding flour balls. They eat meat)
INDIAN FLAP SHELL TURTLE (LISSEMYS PUNCTATA) . They are omnivorous water turtles, eat shrimp, fish, snails and aquatic vegetation. However, they are not easy to keep, REQUIRE a lot of room. Not a good pet turtle at all. I'd release it.
