Perseus's new digs

We moved Perseus and a few of his favorite females to a new location. Here are a few pics:

Wading pool

18" Sully named Ethel taking a dip as soon as it was full


The shade cloth is a temporary sight block until we finish it all this weekend.

Here is their sleeping quarters



The rest of the pen as my brother Andy waters it.



I will update this thread after we get the grapevines and Nopal delivered and planted around the outskirts of the pen. We also have a decent size Mulberry that will be inside the enclosure to provide shade and food.

Oh yeah....I can't forget Perseus. He is 33 1/4" SLC and I know I should have got that pic so Tom will believe me He is not nearly as heavy as I thought He is only 152.6lbs (I do have a pic of that).




Now to try and grow grass and weeds inside the pen while they are there
Any bets on how that will go?

I'll take your word for it. Okay, that's the first one I've seen actually over 32". It was bound to happen someday. I'm surprised by the weight too. Still, that's certainly heavy enough. Thanks for the post.

The straw on top of the house.... what is your long term plan for that? My first thought was that it would be blowing off the first windy day.

The gular is huge. Just how long is it and how thick? Just a rough guess.

change and I saved it. Pretty soon I had a jar full of change so I took it to the machine that takes your coins and makes them into dollars, and that was almost $50. I put away every dollar bill I had every time I shopped and soon enough I had the $300 needed for the laptop...
