But I was wondering do their shells peel? I’ve notice little parts of her shell look like it has peeled like almost was a finger nail looks like if it peels. I couldn’t really find anything on the internet about it so I’m hoping someone can help me. I try to soak her 2-3 times a week for 20-30 minutes. And she has access to water if she wants to soak herself or wants water. She eats very well and I do give her a calcium supplement at least once a week. And I regularly try to get her outside for an hour or more in the real sunshine but she does have a UVB in her enclosure. I can post pictures of her enclosure if needed. Also humidity in my house stays around 40% or higher because I live in a humid area.
