So I've noticed his shell peeling... only because I like to run my hand over it once in a while and my finger or nail will get a little snagged on it... is there medicine I should use? or some sort of food I need to add in?

merrr... Thanks :(

Post pic if possible. Also, what species do you have? Are you keeping him to dry? What is your substrate? How often do you soak?

I have a reeves turtle and when she was peeling like that, the vet said it was a fungus. Now, my reeves turtle is semi-aquatic, but if she doesn't get enough sun or out-of-water time, that can cause the fungus. A lot depends on the type of turtle/tort you have. Tell us more. Sibi
