Peeling Brown stuff

My baby tortugas have some brown stuff on the bottom of their shell.

Is it soft snd smelly ? The pictures are hard to see . Looks like some sort of fungus going on there .

Perhaps take a soft bristle toothbrush and some warm water...let them soak for a bit in warm water and gently brush the area...then set the torts out to dry...take a look at the area and then take a clear pic and share....hard to really say...especially since torts can lay in their own, well, big business and it can dry on and appear peely...

@Mike taylor no it is doesnt smell rotten and I slight pressed down on the area and it felt sturdy to me.

Can you take clearer pictures ? This is where the egg sack was now it is cposed up . It could be dried up yoke sack or fungus ??? Or scare tissue coming off . Like someone said try soaking then take a soft bush and clean the area .
