This female was for sale on kingsnake yesterday for 500 dollars. Two hours later she was gone, apparently already sold. Totally patternless!
Does this look like a genetic morph, where she does not have the genes involved that make shell patterns, or is she just so high color that no dark color appeared on her shell? Other then her shell, her legs, neck, and head appear like a typical female, not extensively colored. This makes me wonder if she doesn't have a genetic change that specifically makes the absence of shell pattern.
I guess her new owner will find out! If its a new morph, then maybe she'll have some patternless babies and some normal, or all normal that are heterozygous for patternless.
On the other hand, if she's just a super high color to the point that there's no pattern, then she should have very high color babies, with the occasional one that is patternless or nearly so.

Did anyone on here buy her? If so, please post more pictures when she arrives! I inquired about her, but she was already sold.

I think she's a high percentage three toed x eastern. Especially with the whitish eyes. I asked about the one underneath on the right in the first pic...all sold.

I was thinking the same thing.

I'll bet you're correct. My first thought was 3 toe.

You might be right. That would be one expensive 3 toed!

Did anyone notice the insect/spider looking thing in the second picture?

Looks like a Lubber Grasshopper nymph, commonly called locusts.

It looks like a light 3 toed IMHO, so what do you think someone made a lot of money off of a 3 toed?
My RES love to eat the grasshoppers I catch in my yard.

She looks neat! I saw a florida box turtle that was all white two months ago, she had been in a fire and her shell was total white from the fire.
