Adopted her off craigslist. Speckled head, neck and legs. Is she a true paradalis paradalis? What do you guys think? She is 6 inches long. No idea of her age.

Nowadays it's really hard to tell. I can't guess either way. I'm sure others on here can tell though.

Does it look PP, Yes. Could you know for sure based on physical characteristics....sadly no. The only way to know for sure is to know the source and which breeders it comes from. There are not many verifiable PP breeders in the states. Lots and lots of "supposed" PP babies for sale but many are obvious mixes.

Based off of what I see I do think it's pure but as it grows out it will become more obvious whether it continues to exhibit PP characteristics are if it changes overall appearance.

No one can really say for sure. At first glance, it doesn't look like a "pure" South African to me, but there is so much variation with leopards I could be very wrong. So I wouldn't lose any sleep if you called it a South African leopard.

She does have 2 dots on her scutes, plus freckles on head, neck, legs which are all traits of paradalis paradalis juveniles. She's beautiful!

I don't think it's ethical to advertise an animal as 'pure' when you are unsure of its origins. Just my 2 cents.

And I really doubt you would find a pure SA leopard on craigslist, because they cost a whole lot more to buy than a regular leopard. If someone paid a lot of $$ for a SA leopard, they would try to recoup some of it if they had to sell the animal, even on craigslist.

This is original owner. That deal fell through I was in ready to pick animal up and he started playing games. So this ad is not me. We had this ironed out and he refused to meet last second.

Whoa. I had something similar go down with someone in Jersey lately. I saw too many red flags, so I backed out.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out. Looks like a nice tortoise. There will be others…

I'm sitting on 68 pure SA eggs right now. Finished cooling the first batch and put them in the incubator on July 5th. Should hatch in around 100-110 days. If you don't mind waiting a while I'll make you a good deal for a forum friend.
