So, I let my tortoise run around in my front yard whenever I get the chance. Their is a lawn for him to roam around, bushes, and flowers. He is watched the whole time. When I do let him do this he goes straight for a bush and just is content with sitting there. I know that he always wants cover from predators but does does anyone else have this occur? I would think that he would want to roam around when he is not in his tank.

Happens sometimes to me too, he will sit under a tree for a while but once he gets used to being out of his enclosure he realizes he might as well graze it took 3 days before he was really comfortable
