Very active but not eating

Hello,
I am getting worried about my russian tortoise. He has been very active since last month. He does not like staying inside the terrarium but wants to roam around behind us. From last 10 days he has not been eating even a bite. He loves carrot so i tried giving him carrot today but he refused to eat. I have been keeping him warm and giving him soaks. How can I help him?

What are you housing him in? And what are his temps on the warm and cool side

Please read the "Beginners Mistakes" Thread and the care sheets.

It's expected that your tort isn't eating: torts do NOT like change so they need time to get used to a new place, enclosure, climate and so on. Do not worry/panic. Keep giving him daily soaks in warm water.

Please do not concentrate too much on carrots as torts cannot digest sweet food.

Any pics of your tort and his enclosure?
