I just rescued a 5 and a half year old Sulcata today! He is quite pyramided, but otherwise healthy, active, social and really really cool!!! I now have 4 "special" Sulcatas. A 3-legged 3.5 year old, a healthy 8mo hatchling, and a sick little hatchling that I've been trying to nurse back to health. I am so in love with my tortoises, they are such fascinating, peaceful and awesome creatures!
My new sulcata's name is Tilt, his previous owners realized that his current yard was just too small and passed him on to me. I'm excited that he will have our giant yard to roam, and my dad is excited about his new organic lawn mower!
