Is this Desert Globemallow (pic attached). I read that Desert torts eat it so I imagine a Greek could right?

Looks like it to me.

We’ve got access to one with grey leaves that look more like the ones on a common mallow but this one also looks legit to me.

My Russian eats it without issue, although it’s definitely not her favorite.

I can’t imagine any plant in the mallow family being unsafe.
