Where do you put the heat and UV lights ?
katelyn0974 said:I just transitioned them today and I have a light that sticks to the back of the tank and hangs over that I wasn't able to move just yet.![]()
pryncesssc said:Very nice . Just be careful with the UVB light , the screen on the cage will block a lot of the UV out .. don't know if you are aware or not. Great looking cage though. You will have happy turtles![]()

They need allot of exercise to be healthy.I would work on building them a table.how big is that tank?most people I'm not saying u don't think turtles walk or move that Much so a small tank will be fine but that is very wrong watch one in a outside enclosure you will be amazed.thay get fat and sick in small tank pluss easterns love to dig so make the substrate verydeep.I have had my breeding pair of easters way over 20 years allmost 30.I raised thethey have no pyramiding and give me two clutches of eggs a year
they have a monster enclosure and still try to dig to China or clime out.are you're hatchlings?if so I recommend the tank you have but just for a year.it keeps the heat and humidity in wich is very important to hatchlings.just get a light timerthe ones that u can set more the one on and off a day I have one you can do every half hour.well get a clip on fan and have it go on for 10 minuts every to three hours when daylight's are on this keeps fresh air in and cools the tank a little good luck
Millerlite said:Keep them under the patio? Carful with awuariums they can over heat rather easy cuz the air gets trapped. Why not add deeper substrate like soil and the moss on too to help keep moisture in the substrate, also box turtles love digging. It will be big enough for now. U don't have lights in it?
