New to the tortoise world

Hey guys. My name is Barry and 4 weeks ago I had to give up my pet snakes due to relationship restrictions. I am now the proud parent to two baby Sulcatas. I have dealt with reptiles all my life but am new to the tortoise world. I have been reading alot of the info and posts here to get some good info. I live in South Louisiana and am glad to say that my new tortoises are quickly becaoming part of my family and are loved by us all. Look forward to sharing some experiences as well as reading others

GF or no GF... do you relize the LIFE long relationship you just started with 2 of the largest tortoise in the World? (well 3rd largest any how) I hope you have a big yard and Grandchildren to inherit your new babies.... (oh yah... guess you'll need that girl friend after all!)

Yes sir. Im well aware and excited about watching these guys grow older. My kids (unborn at the moment) will learn to care for them as they grow up so the torts are in good hands when Im gone.
