I would like to see a picture of your 5 year old Leopard tortoise. My wife is curious to see how big they will be in 5 years.

I enjoy it so both.... I like creating natural enclosures for reptiles. So in that aspect it is a hobby.

Update on the enclosure. It's almost complete. Just need to get some glass for the front, add the substrate and insert the heating light as well as the uvb light. It's 4'x2'x2' my house is due for a fall cleaning. Once more room is avaliable or we move the enclosure will be double the size for winter keeping. I purchased some peat moss and cypress mulch from Lowe's. I will be mixing the 2 as well as adding some spaghnam moss to the top for humidity/moist areas. I will provide more pics once I get further in the process. My locale glass shop isn't open on weekends so I have to wait. I'm still deciding on how to design the lid. I want it to be easy to access for better cleaning. But my lights will be hanging from the top inside. " some new pics of the leopards taking a nap" reminds me of guys in the army. They can fall asleep anywhere.
