My rescue, Fred, is 3-1/2 yrs and is 10-1/2 lbs. Fred's buddy, who came with him, is 2-1/2 yrs and is 8-1/2 lbs. hope this helps. Your recent rescue looks a little small, although my two were fed a diet rich in leafy greens which helps explain their size.

What a pretty girl :) a tad tiny for 3 i think maybe pushing 2 & 1/2? & not fed/supplements/sun enough? But like Cowboy said a Rich diet will make a "Huge" difference in their growing/filling in. I rescued a Female once quoted age 5 & looking at her (years ago) she looked just as tiny & as cute as the ones in your photo. She is now a proper weight & size & is now a laying machine... Her names Kymera... after a Harry Potter wand my husband got me...

Yeah he/she was definitely smaller than i expected. They said he always had hay... fed him greens twice a week and kept him in a 70 gallon aquarium thought he would look worse being kept in a glass aquarium and got no outside time...she said she took him out to walk around her office sometimes when i asked if he is always kept in there. Maybe not being able to graze stunted his growth? He did have a mvb in the aquarium...

Well what is the weight? I would say just guessing, more like 2 according to the pics. And its kinds hard to tell the sex. But if I had to guess I would guess female.

WOW! 10 pounds!? The heaviest of my 6 foster sullies is about 2 pounds. I thought maybe that was close to the right size and the others were small.

After just one week of a good diet, hydration, and sunshine all of my fosters gained some weight. I would make sure to track the weight gain. She should put on weight with the right care.

Nice looking sully. From Craigslist, that's amazing, they usually don't look that good at all.

Yupp. And there wasnt even a rehoming fee or anything wich means more money to spend on her enclosure :)

Is there a general size chart to determine the approximate age? I've been wondering about how old mine is.....

Tom posted a growth chart of his hatchlings and the weights they were. Understand that any growth chart is specific to the animals in that group, and there maybe no way to truly determine the age of an individual outside of a control group.

I rescued a sulcata that seems about the same size. 10 1/2 lbs. but I've never measured him. I know from the previous owner that he's about 3 1/2 years old. He was fed a diet high in green leafy veggies from the store which can help speed their grow at an early age.
