Hi all, does my little guy look healthy to you? Looks like someone gave you bad advice on substrate. It needs to hold moisture. Coconut coir is a good choice.

He is cute for sure. Babies do sleep a lot, but should be active as well. Check out the care guides in the Russian section and tweak your enclosure some. Pay attention to temps and humidity. Ask any questions you have.

Thanks guys he certainly is a cutie lol,
Ye I been reading on here about substrate I will be changing that very shortly,

Just gotta keep waking him up hopefully he get himself into a routine soon lol,

You've got a super little tortoise there.
Some babies seem to sleep most of the day, but this is perfectly normal.
As they get older, they sleep less.
