New Redfoot(?) Owner

Hello all my name is Jarred and I just brought this little guy home this week and have him in a temporary home, I have lurked in the background here for a while learning everything I can and thank you all for the info. Perhaps some of you can help determine Mjolnir's age and type. Ive noticed the reptile store I got him from he was developing pyramiding and Im hoping his new diet will have this halted. Here's some pics of him and his new home which is almost finished Ive built completely myself.

I live in an apartment so I made his large habitat my coffee table and plan on doing all the temp and humidity test's to close the sides with plexi if needed to hold it in more.

She appears to be female (so far- hard to tell for sure until they hit about 6-8" long), and a Northern race, probably from Venezuela or points east of there.

The table looks great. I found it tricky to run a closed habitat with a 'low ceiling' since the heat and light sources were so close to the deck it was hard to regulate. Of course, due to Murphy's Laws, my torts outgrew the thing before I could get it right

Thanks Madkins Informative as always, thankfully the table is taller than it looks around 2 feet tall.

I had suspected that it may be a female so I guess we'll see!
