Hello everyone! I am new to the forum and a new owner of a baby leopard tortoise. I am currently keeping him/her in a 50 gallon storage tote with coconut coir substrate and several hiding areas on both the warm and cool side. The infrared lamp and ceramic heat emitter are hooked to a thermostat and average a basking area of about 98 degrees during the day and I drop it down to about 78-80 during the night. I also have a uvb light for the daytime. Does this sound like proper care? I've done a lot of research and many people have conflicting ideas about humidity. I currently have a water dish on the cool end and a humid hide on the warm end of the tank with sphagnum moss. I also soak the little one daily. Is this enough? I'm very paranoid about pyramiding and I want to do everything I can to keep my leopard healthy and happy. All tips are appreciated!!
Also, so far, the only things that it wants to eat are dandelion greens, clover, and plantain. I've tried orchard grass and mazuri as well, but no luck
