Is anyone using the new formulation of Mazuri LS Tortoise Food? I just opened my 25lb bag and was a little surprised at the new shape, somewhat like mealworms. Just wondering how other folk's animals are taking to it. My Aldabras seem to like it but I think they were a little put off by the different shape and color. Supposed to have more natural grass fiber. Marty

I got a bag a while back and have been offering it to some of mine, my indian star took to it rather quick which surprised me. The younger sulcata's eat it moistened and mixed with the old formula. My adult sulcata will eat it (by accident) dry when mixed in with his daily ration of the original mazuri, But when all the old formula is eaten he does not come back to finish whats left of the new formula. Funny though, you saw mealworms, I saw rat poop.
