This is the third house I've made for Maximus, but definitely won't be the last! It's my favorite one yet, and he really seems to enjoy traveling through all the chambers.

It's 3 large storage bins, I connected them with makeshift tunnels, duct tape, plastic sheets, and the excess plastic I cut from the bins were all used to make the tunnels.
I cut holes in the bin lids for my light fixtures, covered the holes with strong wire mesh, then used more duct tape and tin foil to cover/seal the holes and lights so its all closed chambers.

Now that I have more space its time to get a few more home decor items for him!

That would be something. Good thing they can move fast though. Can you imagine trying to catch them in a train that ran through you house LOL

Not bad. With shorts sides like that, how hot is it under those lights?

I switched to lower watt bulbs, and so far I've got all the temps right, if anything it's still on the cool side under what is supposed to be the basking spot, it's hovering right around 90, I may lay some flat rocks there to get that spot a little hotter.

And I should definitely keep connecting them until he gets too big for the tunnels, at least they're clear bins so I can find him when I need to soak him!
It's kind of like those huge hamster tunnels that go everywhere around the house, only for tortoises haha.
