Hi and welcome I am useless at IDing torts/turtles but I have seen pics of them here so someone who has more experience will be along soon and point you in the direction of the right caresheet.
Where are you located? Did you buy or find him?

The nearest look-a-like I've found on google is a Malayan flat shelled turtle - but as I said I'm not very good at this. :confused:

Better if we could see head, neck and plastron and something for scale to judge size. But sure looks like an Indian Black Turtle Geoemydidea melanochelys - 95% sure.
