Hey everyone it's been a while since I've really posted anything so I thought I'd show you guys my new closed chamber! Definitely the one I'm most proud of lol my red foot isn't in it yet due to letting it dry and air out it's 6ftx2 1/2ftx2ft tall

I'm at right about 140 and some change for making it

oh and a tip for enclosure makers you can get a knape & Vogt sliding glass track 1/8 or 1/4 at any hardware store that is partnered with Ace hardware or have it free shipped to store it cost me 11.99 for a 6ft top and bottom as opposed to 22 something plus shipping on Amazon

Will update when tort is in it and stuff is planted

Looks great! I just have a couple questions, as I'm in the process of building one myself.
First, the track is a great idea. I had no idea it was so cheap. But what about the sides? Do they just butt up to the wood(or whatever you used), or is there another piece for the sides to seal well?
Second, what did you use to hang the lights from? And where do your cords go?

I framed it out like this then added some boards in the middle for reinforcing like this its a 2x2 frame using screws and sitting on a 2x4 stand and sealed with 100% silicone once the plywood sides are attached silicone silicone the cracks between the frame and plywood then I used drylok latex based to waterproof it have to let it cure at least a week tho I recommend to and the lights are hung with hanging hooks the cords run through a 1 1/2 inch hole I made with a hole saw in the top

Yes the board are butted together just predrill like I did first and it will be fine I've even weight tested it that last picture is my 2x4 enclosure with all the lights and dirt sitting on it no problem once so ever

Very nice. And thanks for the tip on the door.

Your welcome I used 1/8 track and 3/32 glass I bought at Lowe's for 13.48 a 36x24 sheet the is slight gap between the tracks but holds heat and humidity well I just use a divider so the tort can't touch the glass but it helps keeping dirt out of the track to

After about 2 weeks the smell is gone and everything is dry gave it a extra 2 days and now he's in it, it will be more heavily planted as time goes on humidity is rock solid in the 80% range (as you can see from the condensation on glass lol) and the temps haven't dropped below 81 with average of about 84-85
