Hey everyone, I had some time off over the last couple weeks so I took the time to build a new closed chamber for my 7 month old leopard Bacardi.
The dimensions are 4'Wx8'Lx3'H. I built the frame out of 2x3's and the walls are 5/8" plywood. The windows are 2 pieces of 2'x4' plexiglass. After 2 coats of paint I sealed all the seams with clear silicone then used a tarp to line the bottom. For substrate I used additive free top soil. Temps are pretty consistent: ~85F at the coolest point, ~95F on hot ends, and ~100F in the basking spot. Still trying bump the humidity up a little bit without soaking the substrate (hence the cups of water) but I'm sure with a few more tweaks I'll be able to hit a consistent 80% throughout.
Finally, here's a few photos of Bacardi enjoying breakfast in his new digs:
Let me know what you guys think!
