need this ID'd (small U shaped leaf)

It is a single leaf that looks like a lily pad. It is one stem and one leaf. Attached is a picture. I live in San Antonio, Texas. I also want to know if it is okay to eat.

I believe it could be Dichondra carolinensis or Carolina ponysfoot
but I have no idea.

I thought Dicondra when I first saw it too...kinda blurry pic tho. It looks like there are more than one type of plant in the picture but I assume you're asking about the most common one

I think Dichondra is supposed to be edible too...
