Need advice on lighting

She has been staying in one corner for most of her time. (The corner furthest away from the lamp.)

Could it be that she’s avoiding the lamp? Or does she just feel secure in that corner?

Those shouldn't be used over tortoises. They emit a very desiccating spectrum of light and cause pyramiding. Redfoots especially are known for not liking bright hot lights.
