As for the name...
I have a rule with naming things. If they don't respond to a name they don't get one.
Torts = no
Dogs = Yes
Fish = no
Cats = sometimes

I agree about the names. I call mine The Bigger One and The Smaller One...and Laura from Sacramento shortened that to Bo and So!! Your guys are really looking good. Growing fast and pretty smooth.

Names. No matter wahy you call them.. it becomes a name.. Maybe not from the heart.. but a nickname or something.
Like the cattle we raised. I refused to get attached to them by naming them. but we had to ID them somehow.. so we called them by their tag #.. but that even became a 'name' of sorts.
And my cats... they KNOW thier names.. they just chose to come when called or not..

Congratulations Chipdog. I think yours were the cutest(sp?) by far anyways. No matter what those people said on the blog. Boy this seemed to upset some especially the name calling. I understood the title "Top Dog" and the definition, though seems some people took it literally
