thanks Yvonne. My job has been keeping me exceedingly busy lately, so I've only had time to lurk here occasionally. But after this recent acquisition, I couldn't resist sharing!

Robyn, There is a Domenico's Italian Restaurant on Santa Anita/just south of the 210 fwy in Arcadia (east of Pasadena). They have a banquet room if there are enough of us and they serve all kinds of Italian food.

I've been to Domenico's - that would be a good place to meet. It's only about three blocks south of the 210.. Very easy access.

How are your two yearling Margie's doing? You hibernated them right?

Yes, they hibernates and are both eating like little piggies now. Still growing fast and enjoying the southern California sunshine in their outdoor enclosure. I took Danny's advice and screened the whole top, allowing for more sunshine. I also planted it with some tortoise-friendly native plants. I'll try to get some pictures up soon.
