oh how beautiful, my grama had some in her yard but my torts destroyed the plant, tried digging a burrow right under it and killed the poor thing =[ but they ate all the flowers off of it, now that im thinking about it, i wonder if they tried to dig a burrow, or knock the plant down to get to the flowers! haha

Is that a hardy hibiscus variety or a tropical variety...reminds me of a tropical variety...you live in New York right--where there is alot of snow...lol...I would make sure of what type you have before you decide to plant outdoors...:D

oh by the way, beautiful flowering for sure..

I'm not sure on the type. Just that it is a pink hibiscus. I have it in a 5-6 gallon pot so I can easily bring it inside for cool weather.

My Russians love hibiscus and eat the leaves and flowers regularly, especially the flowers. I Make sure there is no fertilizer or chemicals on or in the plants.
