The perks of being in construction, and the boss on site. The utility contractor were throwing away some 60" HDPE Storm pipe. So I had my concrete guy cut them into halves For tortoise hides. These are very rigid and will be able to have dirt placed over the top to make. Cool enclosure. Which is perfect timing. First load of stuff down to the new property is tomorrow morning. No turkey day for me.

Anyway as here's the big hides. They stand 2.5' tall. Big enough for the massive sulcatas I have to fit under.

Had to use a articulating loader to load them on my trailer. Niiiiiiiiice.

Wow, you weren't kidding on the Mega part. You have to eat tomorrow, so you should stop and have some turkey some place.
Good luck with moving stuff.
Happy Thanksgiving

I use the same. I dig the hole and drop them in at a nice downward angle pointed in a safe direction, and the Sully's complete the renovation. It makes the entrance and the burrow collapse proof.

Yep. Well the torts aren't moving this weekend. This load of clearing trees and driveway and remodeling the building for the tortoises. December 18th will be the tortoise move.

These are 30 inch pipe cut in half. Those 60s are huge. I wouldn't be burying those by hand. Good luck with the move.

You'd better give her an answer or she'll just keep asking! ;)

I know the one the big guys have here, has got to be long. How did you figure the length of your big tunnel? Both of the tunnels here do sharp left turns.

I have two pictures of her. I'm saving them for if I'm ever mad at her. This threat keeps me on her good side!
