Good Morning! Today is my estimated 1 month anniversary of Dozer Hatch Date!!! She weighs 53 grams.

I estimate I got her when she was a week old. She weighed 29 grams
1 week later (2 wks old) she was 35g
3 weeks =40
4 weeks was yesterday =52g.
She is doing great!

I turned off the basking light for the photo. I an happy with how Dozer's enclosure is coming along. She has an outside area too but She is only outside 30 min to 1 hr every day. She seems pretty happy and healthy. Her 5 week weight on 8/1 was 59 grams.

I have dug up broad leaf plantains, fescue and crab grass , and I planted coleus seeds, which have sprouted. She loves to eat those, but hasn't found all the sprouts yet.

59 grams is a good weight for 5 weeks. You are golden. You should rest easy knowing that Dozer will continue to thrive and that you have made past the initial baby worries.

I love that you have two water bowls too!

Dozer is just too cute and is growing like the proverbial weed! Sam is right at 10 weeks old and 111 grams :) Because I'm ridiculous, he has a Facebook page (you can search "Sam the Sulcata Tortoise" -- he has a boatload of pics there if you'd like to see :) ).
