Lighting question

Hi everyone,
I've had my little Torty for 2 months now and the powersun mvb that I bought has stopped working. Zoomed said they would send me a new bulb which is good, but until it arrives should I buy another powersun or will he be okay with just a regular basking bulb? The weather has been beautiful and he goes outside everyday to enjoy the sun. I'll buy another bulb if that would be best but here in Canada they are$100 so if I could make do with a basking bulb and natural sunlight that would be great.

I don't think you should buy another one. The natural sunlight will be great.
The problem is that people always debate on the amount of time needed outside for enough UVB. Some say 15min, or an hour, or a couple hours.

I to say you will be all set as long as he is getting out for some sun wait till they send you the bulb should not be that long

I think as long as he's getting 20-30 minutes very few days, he should be good without artificial UV lighting.
