Hello everyone!

A quick question, is this type of light good for my 3 years old leopard tortoise?IMAG2272~2.jpeg

I'm sorry, I can't help you with that, as I've never used that type. I use the fluorescent tube type UVB light.

No. Its a halogen, and its also false advertising. Halogen bulbs don't produce UVB, but they do produce carapace desiccating IR-A which will cause pyramiding.

This is what the florescent tube fixture and tubes look like.
In this case they are 18".
You can get them longer if needed.

Does your tortoise get to spend any time outdoors in the natural sunshine?
A few hours a week in the sunshine would be as good as any of the UV lamps.
