If anyone knows of a Russian Tortoise that they are looking to rehome or adopt out. I live in Southern California and really interested in taking one in.

Please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Have you checked craigslist in your area? Here in the Portland, Or, area, Russians are listed fairly often. Often for a price, but less than a pet store. That is where I adopted my 2 males, and I kind of felt like I saved them.

Yeah I've been checking there. I sent an application to my local TTC too

Craigslist looks sort of dead right now in terms of tortoises. I emailed the orange county chapter my app but I haven't seen heard anything back as of yet.

well they are just coming out of hibernation, so any escapees should be turning up soon, in the next few months.

Hi there, I am in Mass and there are quite a number of Russians available. Email me if you get desperate and maybe I can help. I know none of these personally, so I couldn't vouch for any of them, but usually the ones that are posted around here are folks that just impulse got them an did no research..

I called just now. It's not available until Tuesday and there is already one hold on it. Thanks for the heads up though
