This is the last of the leopard tortoise babies I raised, and my favorite. Has always been the biggest! She is 9.5" SCL and weighs a little over 2000g, with new growth showing at the seams. Going to be huge, her Mama is over 20" SCL.
Hatched Dec 2020, got her Jan 2021. I raised her in a closed humid chamber with daily soaks, weeds and grass fed except in dead of winter, sprayed her shell a few times daily. She spent outdoors a few hrs daily the first year, full time outdoors 2nd year once weather was warm.
She eats like a horse and is not shy. She gets to roam in a fenced orchard on warm days now she is big enough, and explores every square inch while grazing happily.
I'm getting out of leopard torts, going to focus on my CB Russian tortoises exclusively.
