Hello! I have recently be afforded the opportunity to take in a small female Kenyan Sand Boa and I'm doing my due diligence. Do any of you have experience with them? If so what are the most challenging aspects of their care?
And before you say it, I realize that they are expert hide-n-seek champions and that I wouldn't be likely to see much of her, but I'm okay with that. She's not in the greatest situation and I'd like to give her a nice safe, warm forever home regardless.
Also, for what it's worth, this would be my first snake as an adult (aka I didn't catch by the creek and keep in a shoe box until my mother panicked and returned it....that was a fun weekly game).
Any insight would be great, thank you!
