Let me first start by saying my husband always messes with me about making tortoise soup with my tortoise Myrtle. He would never harm her, he just likes to tease me and make me pout. So I was at work and being the concerned mommy that I am I asked my husband to check on Myrtle, next thing you know I received this photo. My poor Myrtle was in a frying pan It was too funny to even be mad!

Oh my goodness! My dad used to joke about the same thing, which drove me absolutely crazy! I'm sure one day he'll accept the fact that our tort is his only grandchild! ;D

Just have him babysit he will love his grandchild. After all the gifts he could buy are cheaper hehe. My step son sends me turtle soup recipes, he said he's preparing for when I'm old a senile and he inherits my tort.

Also, I sure hope he washed that pan after that photo... XD My soon-to-be hubby isn't too interested in dish-washing.

Oh he did! he said he scrubbed the heck out of it and would of added veggies but didn't want to contaminate them.
