Im sure you hear this all the time but I still have not seen any pee or poop from my hermanns hatchling. He arrived several days ago and is eating normally but it worries me that there is no evidence. I soak him everyday and see nothing. Should I be worried yet? He arrived early last Friday so it's only been five days. Otherwise active in the mornings, wakes up on his own and goes to bed in the early afternoon very predictably. Seems happy and healthy, but theres no poop! His substrate is soil and cypress mulch, so am I just not seeing it?

Very worried Tort mommy.... (probably for no reason..:))

He may be eating it or your missing it. When you soak, give him a big enough area to walk around, the movement will help.

Yes he is eating very well right now. For awhile he seemed to be eating less and less but now he eats almost everything that I give him. He also pees in his soak every day but no poop. His bath is big enough to walk around, and he does.
